MINORS’ PRIVACY POLICY
Last Modified: April 21, 2026
WHO IS THIS PRIVACY POLICY FOR?
If you are a minor aged 10 to under 17 using our services, or an adult that wants to know how Paramount handles the personal information of minors, this policy is for you! (Keep reading to find out more about who Paramount is.)
If you are a minor under 10 years old, we have a special fun version of our Privacy Policy for you here.
This Privacy Policy does not cover how Paramount treats personal information of grownups or of older teens in some countries or states in the US who can legally make decisions for themselves. Information about grownups and older teens is in our main Paramount Privacy Policy, found here.
By the way, in case you’re wondering, when we use “minor” in this Privacy Policy we are referring to someone who hasn’t yet reached the age their country considers an adult. In many places, that age is 18, but in some places, it can be a bit lower or higher. It just means you’re still in the ‘not an adult yet’ stage.
WHO ARE WE?
We are Paramount Skydance Corporation, a big company made up of a bunch of different companies that creates awesome movies, shows, and experiences for people all over the world. We have a lot of different ways you can enjoy our content, including movies, TV shows, streaming, live events, and even fun merchandise!
So that it is clear: Paramount Skydance Corporation is the main company at the top. Think of it as the “parent” company. Paramount is the short, friendly name we use when talking about the company in everyday language. The Paramount Skydance Family of Companies means Paramount Skydance Corporation and all the other companies it owns or works with.
So when this privacy policy says “Paramount,” “we,” or “us,” it means Paramount Skydance Corporation and the companies that are part of its family.
You can find out more about our businesses and brands and the services we provide here.
If you are in the U.S., you can see a list of Paramount services that are directed to children under the age of 13 here.
WHAT IS THIS PRIVACY POLICY ABOUT?
This Privacy Policy will tell you how Paramount collects and uses information about you. It applies whenever you (1) watch one of our shows on a TV, phone or tablet; (2) browse one of our sites or use one of our apps; (3) send us one of your creations for a competition or other activity; (4) play one of our games; (5) use one of our other services; or (6) participate in one of our live events.
Always remember, whether you are playing a game or logging in to watch a show on a Paramount service, you should always check with your parent or guardian before entering information about you on any website, mobile app, or other service online. That information is yours and should be looked after properly. We encourage you and your family to talk about your household rules on entering or sharing personal information online. For more information on how your parents or guardians can personalize how you use our services, you can go to the “Parental Control and Choices” section of this Privacy Policy and discuss it with your parents or guardians.

OUR MISSION TO PROTECT MINORS’ PRIVACY
We know it’s important to keep personal information about minors safe. That is why we do not collect more information from or about minors than we need to power our services and offer you neat and fun things and experiences. That is also why we will not share your personal information outside the Paramount Skydance Family of Companies unless we ask first (like when we need to get your parent’s or guardian’s consent to collect your personal information or talk to you online) or have a legal reason to do so.
WHAT IS PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We’ve mentioned “personal information” a few times already in this Privacy Policy, and you’re probably wondering what we mean. Personal information is information that tells us about you or your device and helps us know it's you. It can also be information about what kinds of things you like, or what shows you watch or games you play.
WHAT INFORMATION DOES PARAMOUNT COLLECT ABOUT ME?
We collect personal information from you or about you that we need to run our services or to follow the law. Sometimes we need to collect some personal information so that we can tell your parent or guardian information about our services or get their permission for you to use them.
There are three kinds of personal information that we collect: (1) information you give to us, like when you fill out a form or when you enter a contest, (2) information we collect automatically through different kinds of technologies you use to access our services, and (3) information we get from other people or other companies that may know you or whose services you may have used.
LEARN MORE…
(1) Information you give to us
You can use many of our services without giving us any personal information, but some of our services may have forms that ask for some of your personal information, like:
- Information that tells us who you are and how to contact you like your name, online username, phone number, email address, or the address where you live or get your mail.
- Information that lets us contact your parent or guardian like their name, phone number, email address, and address where they live or get their mail.
Some services we offer need a form of payment like a credit card. If so, we will ask you to get a parent or guardian to help you and we will get permission directly from your parent or guardian if you’re not able to give us permission on your own.
We may also collect personal information that tells us about you like your birthday and year you were born, the gender you identify with, an avatar or other picture or character you use online to show other people how you want them to see you, things you like, and what you think about one of our characters or experiences. If we record your voice, we’ll tell you why. We’ll delete the recording after we no longer have a need for it.
Please note that we don’t ask you to share your personal details with the general public, like giving your full name, email, or anything like that where others can see it.
(2) Information we automatically collect
Some personal information we collect about you comes from technologies that are on your TV, computer, phone, tablet or other device when you are browsing one of our sites or using one of our apps, watching one of our shows, playing one of our games or using another one of our services. Sometimes, we work with other companies to help us offer you one of our services, and they may use these technologies to collect information about you so they can give that information to us. This information can include:
- IP address (a number given by your internet provider that can identify your device).
- Mobile advertising ID (a number that’s given to your device by the maker of the software that runs on your phone or tablet, and which you can change).
- Media access control (MAC) address which is another number that tells us what device you’re using which does not change.
- A mix of random numbers and letters called cookies, pixels, tags, beacons, scripts, or other kinds of technology that can see what you do when you’re online and help contact you or send you messages.
We make sure these identifiers can’t be used to find you, contact you, follow you online, or learn extra things about you. We only use these identifiers for our own internal reasons, like:
- Keeping our services working properly.
- Sending you messages and alerts about your account if you have one.
- Giving you access to our services and choose what you want to see.
- Showing ads in a way that makes sense and so you don’t see the same ads over and over again.
- Helping you stay safe while using our services and helping our services stay protected.
- Helping us follow the rules and laws in the places we operate.
- Answering your questions or requests where we are allowed to do so.
- Make the app or website show you stuff you like and help it work better.
- Learn how to improve the services by studying how people use it.
- See which parts of the app, website or game people enjoy the most so we can make them more awesome and more “you.”
We ensure the identifiers above are not used for other reasons by:
- Not using your full name.
- Not connecting them to other info about you.
- We have rules to help keep your information safe like only letting certain people see it.
- Deleting them after when we’re done using them for the reason we collected them.
- Not sharing them with other companies, except the ones that help us provide our services.
(3) Information we get from other people or companies
We may collect personal information about you such as your name, age and address from other places, too:
- If you enter one of our competitions that we offer with another company, that other company may collect your details and share it with us so that we can contact you and/or deliver the prize.
- If you come to one of our live events, we may get your information from another company that is helping us host the event.
- If you want to be in one of our shows or an advertisement for a show, or other photos, videos, or podcasts we create, we may use a production company or casting agent to collect information about you from your parent or guardian, like your name, age, pictures and videos of you and other casting information, that can be shared with us.
When we collect your personal information from other companies, they also have to tell you how they use and share your information. It’s always a good idea to check out their privacy policies with a parent or guardian, too.
HOW DOES PARAMOUNT USE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION & WHY?
We use your personal information in different ways:
- Some information is used to make our services work and to show you “contextual advertisements” on services that have ads.
- Some information helps us understand how different people use our services or what types of things they like to read, watch, or play, or if they like how our services are designed.
- Some information helps us make our services better, safer, and easier to use.
- If you are helping us gather information for a study or about our shows or other content, or a study about young people and families, or other interesting research, we use your personal information as part of that research.
- If we ask for your parents or guardians to give us their permission to use your personal information, we can only use your personal information for the reasons we explained to your parents.
- We also use your personal information where the law or a contract we have with one of our partners requires us to do so.
LEARN MORE…
Here is a more detailed list of the ways we use personal information about you (remember, some of these things will require us to get your parent or guardian’s permission first):
- Make the services work, fix problems, add new fun stuff, and make them better.
- Do the things that we promised other people or companies in our contracts.
- Set up and help you keep your account, if you have one.
- Send you alerts or messages about your account, if you have one.
- Send newsletters, postcards, or messages you asked us to send you.
- Let you join in fun activities like games or challenges.
- Let you enter in sweepstakes, competitions, or promotions, pick winners and send them prizes.
- Answer your questions or requests.
- Help us with research about our different types of subjects, like our programs, how other children like you are dealing with things happening around you or finding out what children like you like to do, among other kinds of studies.
- Look at how people use our services to make them easier and more fun to use for you.
- Show contextual ads in a way that makes sense and so you don’t see the same ads over and over again.
- Find and fix errors and problems on the services that make them harder to use.
- Make sure we have the correct information to send you things you win in a contest, or get as part of a giveaway, or that you ask us to send you.
- Help keep everything safe for Paramount and for all the people that use our services, to follow the laws, and to stop bad things like fraud.
Notifications and alerts
We won’t use your information to send you push notifications that need you to be connected online unless we get your parents’ or guardians’ permission first. But we may send you notifications or alerts that come from one of our apps to tell you about new shows, fun events in the app, or other reasons. These kinds of notifications don’t need you to be connected online, and everyone sees the same notifications or alerts if they have them turned on.
Advertising
If you are under 18 and are using our services that have advertisements, we only show you advertisements that make sense for the type of shows you are watching or games you are playing. These are called contextual advertisements. Even for these types of advertisements, we may need to collect a few bits of information about your computer, your phone or tablet or your television, as well as a digital set of numbers that helps us send the right ad to your device to make sure the advertisement is getting to the right place, and to make sure you aren’t seeing the same ad over and over.
We do not show you advertisements using personal information about who you are, what you like, other games you’ve played, shows you’ve watched, or sites and apps you have used. These kinds of advertisements are called “targeted advertising”, “behavioral advertising”, or “interest-based advertising.”
Our legal bases
Some laws require what is called a “legal basis” to collect and use personal information. A “legal basis” means a good reason under the law. For many things we do, our “legitimate interests” is the good reason we have under the law for using your personal information. See some examples of our legitimate interests below.
- We may use information about how you use our services including your preferences and identifiers to:
- Make the services work, fix problems, add new fun stuff, and make them better.
- Understand how people use our services and to make them easier and more fun to use for you.
- Show you ads.
- Keep things safe for Paramount and for all the people that use our services.
- We may use your name and contact information and your parents’ or guardians’ contact information like an email address and address to:
- Send you notifications and alerts when you or your parents ask for them.
- Let you enter in sweepstakes, competitions, or promotions, pick winners and send prizes.
- Answer your questions and requests
- Let you join in fun activities like games and challenges.
For other things that we do with your information, our legal basis is to keep the promises we make in our contracts or follow the laws. In some cases, the law says we have to get permission to collect and use personal information, for things like sending you emails or other messages about new stuff or fun things you might like.
When we need permission, we will ask you or, if you’re not old enough, we will ask you to give us your parents’ or guardians’ information so we can contact them to ask for their permission. When you or your parent or guardian gives us permission to collect and use your personal information, you or they can always change your minds and take back that permission at any time.
WHO DOES PARAMOUNT SHARE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH & WHY?
Because the Paramount Skydance Family of Companies is made up of a bunch of different companies and brands, we share your personal information between some of those companies to offer our services and events to you. The good news is that all companies in the Paramount Skydance Family of Companies follow the same rules described in this Privacy Policy.
We also share your information with trusted business partners. For example, we may need to share your information with another company that is working with us at an event with a giveaway, sweepstakes, or promotion.
We also share your information with people and other companies that help us with our services, like building websites and apps, looking at how the services are used, fixing problems or sending stuff to you. These people are only allowed to use your information in the ways we tell them. We call these people or companies “Service Providers.”
Sometimes, we might need to share your information if our company is changing, if we need to follow the law, or to keep ourselves safe.
LEARN MORE…
We share your information in these ways:
We share information within the Paramount Skydance Family of Companies. We share information we collect about you with Paramount Skydance Family of Companies for the reasons described in the “How do you use my information & why?” section above.
We share information with Service Providers. We share your information with other companies or people who help us do things like building websites and apps and helping to make sure that they keep working; understanding how people use the services and making the services better; taking payments; sending you stuff you asked for or that you won; putting on events; or giving us advice like our lawyers, accountants, and other advisers. These Service Providers are just a kind of helper and aren’t part of our company, so they can only use your information to help us do our job and not for anything else.
We share information with our business partners. We share your information with our business partners, like the ones that run competitions or events with us. These companies have their own privacy policies, so you should ask your parent or guardian to check them out and make sure you understand how they handle your personal information because it could be different from how Paramount handles your information. We won’t share your information with any partners without getting your permission or, if you’re not old enough, the permission of your parent or guardian.
We share your information with your permission or if you ask us to. We will share your information with others if you give us permission or when you ask us to. For example, if you ask us to share your information for you to participate in a service run by a different company that is not related to Paramount, we will share that information but only the information you give us permission to share and only to do the things you tell us you want the other company to do.
We may share your information for a business deal. Sometimes our company grows or changes because we are getting together with another company or we are selling part of our company or making some other changes to the way we are organized. When this happens, we may have to share or give your information to the other company and their advisors during that process.
We share information if we think we have to because the law says so or to protect ourselves. For example, we will share information when there is a case or investigation and a person in charge has told us we have to. Sometimes, we need to share your information to keep our company and the people who work here safe or because we need to help protect others.
In rare circumstances, we may share information with Third-Party Operators, which are other companies that help us run things like contests, giveaways, sweepstakes, or special events.. They might help check your entry, make sure everything’s fair, or contact you if you win. These companies follow their own privacy rules, and if we share your information with them, we’ll let you know and we only share what’s needed to make the event work.
Our services may include links that take you to other websites or services, such as gaming platforms, online stores, sites where your parents or guardians can buy tickets to movies or events, apps and games that connect you with a digital assistant like Alexa or Google, among others. The companies that run those other services or make those devices have their own privacy policies. How they handle your personal information is not covered here or in our main Privacy Policy.
Please check out for yourself or ask your parents or guardians to help you understand the privacy policies of any other companies that you share information with.
WHERE DOES PARAMOUNT KEEP MY INFORMATION?
Paramount has offices all over the world. Sometimes we need to send personal information from one country to another country, but the laws in all countries are not the same. That means that sometimes we have to take extra care of the personal information we send from one place to another. We do this in different ways. For example, sometimes there will be a contract in place so that personal information is protected in the country we send your personal information to, and some laws allow you to ask for a copy of that contract.
If you want to learn more about how we protect personal information when we send it from one country to another, you and a parent or guardian can check out the section on international transfers in the main Paramount Privacy Policy.
WHAT PRIVACY RIGHTS DO I HAVE?
Because your personal information is private and belongs to you, you have some rights and choices that are called “Privacy Rights.” Your Privacy Rights let you or your parent or guardian ask us what personal information we have about you or even to delete your personal information. You can also ask us if we have given your personal information to another person or company. But asking doesn’t always mean we can do it. Sometimes the law or our rules won’t allow it. If we can’t, we’ll explain why.
Your Privacy Rights may be different from others depending on what country or state you live in.
If you live in California and are under the age of 18, and you registered for a website or other service with a link to this Privacy Policy, you can ask us to erase any information you posted for others to see. Just keep in mind that even if we delete the post or the information in it from our sites or services, that does not mean it is gone from other places on the internet that may have copied it. Sometimes, we may not be able to delete something completely because other laws might require us to keep it.
LEARN MORE…
Depending on the laws of where you live, including the United States, some of your Privacy Rights are:
- The right to ask for a copy of the personal information we have about you.
- The right to ask us to correct your personal information if it is wrong or missing some information.
- The right to ask us to delete your personal information from our records or to take your picture or video down from a social media site or online service or to blur it If we can’t take it down for some reason.
- The right to ask us to stop using your personal information or giving it to other people or companies.
- The right to ask us to give your personal information to another company if you want to take it some place else.
- The right to know if we have given your information to another company and know who that other company is.
- The right to tell the people in charge of privacy if you're not happy with how your information is being used.
- The right to ask us to double‑check a decision we make about your personal information.
Your parents have rights too! They can see what personal information we have about you, ask us to delete it and tell us to stop collecting it. To do this, your parents just need to contact us using the instructions in our “Contact Us” section below.
If you want to learn more about your rights, you can go to the main Paramount Privacy Policy with a parent or guardian here. You or your parent or guardian can also contact us at the information in the Contact Us section below if you have any questions about what rights and choices apply to you.
HOW DO I USE MY PRIVACY RIGHTS?
To use your Privacy Rights or if you need help regarding your rights, you can ask a parent or guardian to send a request through our Paramount Privacy Rights Center. We will do our best to help you.
If you live in California and want to use your rights under the Eraser Law, you or your parent or guardian can also ask us to help you through our Privacy Rights Center. We will do our best to help you. Privacy Request’ and mention "Eraser Law" in the details.
We may still have to keep some of your information even when you ask us to delete it because other laws require us to.
WHAT CHOICES AND CONTROLS ARE AVAILABLE TO MY PARENTS OR GUARDIANS?
If the law says we need to get your parent’s or guardian’s permission to collect your personal information from you, and we find out that we collected your personal information without getting that permission, we will either delete the information or reach out to your parents to ask them if we can keep it.
If your parents decide not to give us permission or to take back permission that they gave us before, they can ask us to delete all your personal information. If your personal information is deleted, it may also delete your account or your ability to use the services.
If you have any questions or concerns about our approach to how you handle your personal information, or are a parent or guardian of a minor and want to access or request deletion of the data of your child, you can send us a request through our Privacy Right Manager’s parents webform: https://privacy.paramount.com/parentalrights
If you or your parents or guardians want more information about their choices and rights as parents, you can go to the main Paramount Privacy Policy: https://privacy.paramount.com/policy.
HOW LONG DOES PARAMOUNT KEEP MY PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR?
We only keep your personal information for as long as we have to so that we can offer you our services or for any other reason we would have explained to you when we collected your personal information. Some personal information we only keep for a very short time, but other information we may need to keep for longer. It all depends on why we collected the personal information in the first place, what we are using it for, and what we need it for. We may also keep personal information longer if there are laws that say that we have to. For additional information on how long we keep your personal information, see our Data Retention Policy.
LEARN MORE…
Here are some examples of how long we keep different kinds of personal information:
- If your family has an account for one of our services that you use, we will keep your information for as long as you are using that service. After you're done, we might keep some of your details, like how you used the service, for a little longer to make sure no rules were broken or because some laws say we must.
- If you enter a competition, we keep your information for as long as we need to pick a winner and make sure the winner gets the prize, after that your information is deleted.
- If you ask us to stop sending you messages, we keep a record of that request to make sure we don’t send them to you again.
- If you use your Privacy Rights, we will keep your information to help us remember and so we can respect your wishes.
Sometimes, when for some reason we cannot totally delete your information, we may mix it up with information of other people so no one can figure out which information is yours. Other times we may take out all the bits of personal information we use to know it’s you or your device. This is called “aggregated information” or “de-identified information” and may not be treated the same as personal information because we can’t figure out who the information belongs to. For example, aggregated and de-identified information may be kept for longer periods of time than personal information.
DOES PARAMOUNT SELL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Under certain U.S. laws, giving your personal information to another company is sometimes called a “sale.” In those states, we need permission from your parents or guardians (or from you if you are old enough) to “sell” your personal information.
When we know you are of an age covered by those state laws, or you are using one of our services that is designed for children under the covered age, we do not “sell” your information.
LEARN MORE…
In rare instances, you may be old enough and we may ask for your permission to “sell” your information to other businesses or companies; or if you’re not old enough, your parents or guardians can give us permission. In those instances, you can change your mind at any time and take that permission back by following the instructions on the “Your Privacy Choices” link on the home page of the relevant website, mobile and app, or other service. This link only appears on those services where a “sale” may happen.
When you make these choices on one of our websites or apps, you will need to do it again if you clear your cookies or use a new browser or device. Ask a parent or guardian to help you if you need.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
From time to time, we may change this Privacy Policy. If the changes are big and have to do with the kinds of personal information we collect, how we use or share it, or if it will change some of the rights you have, we will let you and your parents and guardians know. If the law says we need to get your or your parents’ or guardians’ permission to make these changes, we will ask for that permission.
We may let you or your parents or guardians know by email, by posting an alert of any big changes on our services, or other ways the law lets us. It’s always a good idea to check out our Privacy Policy often to stay updated. The “last modified” date at the top of this page will tell you when we last updated it.
